Private housing renovation: greater energy efficiency and quality of life, less environmental impact

  • Promotion of private housing rehabilitation, with special emphasis on improvements related to energy efficiency, the response of housing to climate change, reducing environmental impact and the use of materials with the smallest possible carbon footprint.
  • Specific rehabilitation interventions in areas of Ca n’Anglada and blocks of Santa Margarida.

Citizen support for housing rehabilitation

  • Strengthen the new Terrassa Housing/Rehabilitation Office to offer support and advice to citizens and neighborhood communities in rehabilitation and energy efficiency projects and grant applications, as well as in the programs of Mediation for social renting and Mobilization of empty homes.
    The underlying objective is to contribute to sustainable development, create synergies with the various stakeholders and promote a local and circular economy.

Increase the supply of affordable subsidized housing.

  • Implementation of the 30% reserve in new subsidized housing developments, with price regulation, in order to expand the supply of affordable housing, which represents a potential of up to 1,300 new homes throughout the city.
